Tips To Save A Marriage

First of all, welcome to this blog! I know its fairly new, but I'll do my best to get your answers about how to save a marriage up here as soon as possible. This post is going to be about a factor that causes a lot of stress in most relationships. Unfortunately, this factor is a well known problem around the globe in all spheres of life. You can say that whoever masters this skill will be successful in life. So what am I talking about? Communication. If you know how to communicate, you are on the good way to save your marriage. It is really one of the most important tips I can give you on how to save your marriage.

This is especially true after either one of you cheated. If you don't start to communicate, your marriage is lost. You need to talk to each other, be open, be willing to listen and to talk. And all of this without letting your emotions take control.

Communication is important in all spheres of life, like I said earlier. But you can't communicate the same in all situations. Lets give you an example. You come home after a busy day at work and you feel tired. Your spouse comes and asks you: How was your day? You know as well as I that she doesn't want a list of what you've done. If your boss asks you: What did you do today, he does want a list of what you've done. You see the difference? A lot of people make the mistake of communicating the same way at home and at the office.

I hope you see the difference and why it is important to communicate differently. Your spouse wants not a list, but a story. Now you might laugh, but essentially that's what it is all about. Stories. Your spouse wants intimacy, wants to know what your feeling, if your worried, if your happy. The best way to bring all of this across is by telling your spouse the story of your life. Take time to sit together and just chat. Chat about superficial and about deep stuff.
